Fuppie - derived from the term "Finished Unfinished Projects". Fuppies are projects for which the stitching part is completed but the "final finishing" is not done (ie framing, pillows, needlerolls, ornaments, or whatever the end project may be).
S.E.X. - "Stash Enhancement eXperience" refers to the sheer joy of acquiring more charts, fabrics, threads, and other stitching items to add to our collection.
My husband has enjoyed learning stitching lingo. When ever I get out stitched projects to do the finishing he says "Death to Fuppies!" I spent one day with some friends hand over-dying floss from our stash. When I showed him what I did, he said "Oh, you had S.E.X. today". I informed him that I didn't acquire any new stuff but used existing stash. His comment was "You took some stash and enhanced it, that sounds like S.E.X. to me!". So be it.
